Rest and Renewal: End of Year Ritual

Capacity is rooted in the body. It is earth bound, our biology and speaks to us through our emotional and physical health, energy, and adaptation responses. It allows us to pursue and nurture experiences, jobs, relationships, etc.

Desire is rooted in the ether, it is borne of the imagination and thought and often leads to disconnect from our body’s awareness as we nurture those wants and desires. It is often what fuels our desire for growth.Sometimes we are called to increase capacity to fill our desires, and other times we are called to slow down to yield to our capacity so that we may embrace it.

Come join us for this 2 hour workshop, which includes somatic practices, knowledge, group meditation, and writing prompts to engage the new year with more purpose and clarity. One of my favorite offerings of the year.

Vedic Meditation Course

Vedic meditation is an effortless, eyes closed technique practiced for 20 minutes, twice a day.

By effortlessly bringing into awareness a primordial sound (also known as a mantra) the mind naturally begins to settle into a state of deep, wakeful rest. It is this restful state that allows for the body to diminish stress, expand capacity for discernment and increase overall states of being.

Upon completion of the course, students are eligible for ongoing group meditation sessions as well as post follow up and support with their practice.
